Who We AreWestern Canada's top-notch agricultural communications company has just rolled into town. We offer high quality communications needs for your agribusiness or agricultural organization.
Combining elements of our founder's childhood passion of agriculture, with her skills and expertise from careers and formal education, Just.Ag Productions aims to help the Western Canadian agricultural community tell their stories. |
Our HistoryComing from a mixed agricultural background, and one that's far from conventional, Just.Ag Productions has blossomed out of a dream and university project, becoming a homegrown business.
Since the spring of 2015, Just.Ag Productions has been in the mixing wagon and as of spring 2016 has started to come to life online. |
Let me introduce you to the face of Just.Ag Productions.
Bree Patterson is the farmHER behind the camera, computer screen, notepad and pitchfork.
Passionate about agriculture - especially Western Canadian ag - Bree uses her passion, skills and expertise to capture the stories of Canadian agriculture.
Bree was bit by the agricultural bug as a child, all thanks to the 4-H BC program. But unlike many other 4-H members, Bree did not have the pleasure of being born on a farm. Instead she tossed her fair share of bales, slabs of beef, and crop protection products around, all the while calving and milking cows - just to get her to where she is today.
Bree decided to venture from the BC mountains to the Alberta prairie skies where she obtained a Diploma in Animal Science from Lakeland College, focusing on the Beef Production aspect of the program. Like all good scholars, she knew that the only way to get street cred (or shall we call it field cred) was to hit the dirt road running, working in both the crop production and animal agriculture sectors.
From assisting in the management of various beef and dairy herds, advising farmers on agronomic and grain marketing decisions, Bree reaped the benefits of her harvest of knowledge.
Eventually deciding that she needed to return to the textbooks, Bree began her journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communications - with a focus on agricultural communication.
Since the completion of her Bachelor's and her return to the home province (to the gorgeous Kamloops Valley), where she now assists BC beef producers, Bree has worked to create a business designed for her target audience - Canadian farmers and the Canadian consumer.
Her goal is to help bridge the gap between producer and consumer, all while assisting agribusinesses and organizations to communicate effectively to their consumers.
